Menlo Welcomes Avery More and Alex Gorelik

Menlo is excited to welcome two new additions to our team –  Avery More as Venture Partner and Alex Gorelik as Entrepreneur in Residence.

Avery More will focus on sourcing deals in the enterprise space.  He was the active chairman of Aeroscout (a Menlo portfolio company, acquired by Stanley Healthcare Solutions in 2012).  He is also chairs the board of Vidyo (another Menlo portfolio company), QualiSystems, BuzzStream, and is a board member of SolarEdge Technologies.  Avery was also the founder and CEO of CompuCom, now a publicly-traded company.  Avery’s 35 years of experience guiding technology startups from the early stages through acquisition will provide more depth to the Menlo investment team.

Alex Gorelik is a proven technology leader and entrepreneur with track record of developing and bringing to market technologies in the Cloud and Big Data sectors.  A serial entrepreneur and inventor, Alex held executive roles at Informatica including GM of Informatica’s Data Quality Business Unit and SVP of R&D for Core Technology. Alex joined Informatica from IBM, where he was an IBM Distinguished Engineer for Information Integration team. Companies Alex founded include Exeros (acquired by IBM) and Acta Technology (acquired by Business Objects).  Alex will focus on incubating a company at Menlo and will provide guidance to our team in the Cloud and Big Data sectors.
