Steve is a partner at Menlo. He joined the firm in 2015 as an associate, became a principal in 2017, and a partner in 2019 (the youngest partner promotion in Menlo’s 43 year history). He is focused on investments in Menlo’s “Inflection Fund”— which targets $20-$30m checks into fast-growing Series B/C companies in the $5-$10m ARR range. He has invested across consumer fin-tech and marketplace companies (Chime, Mealpal, and Rover) and enterprise SaaS applications (Heap, Carta, Scout RFP).
Before Menlo, Steve worked at Insight Venture Partners in New York, where as part of the Insight Onsite team, he contributed to investment diligence while providing hands-on resources and expertise to both internet and software companies. Prior to Insight, Steve was involved in the financial services group at Oliver Wyman, where he worked closely with large financial institutions to develop growth and regulatory initiatives. He also interned for a summer with the world’s largest hedge fund, Bridgewater Associates, and was the co-founder of a Y Combinator-funded social network. Steve graduated from Princeton University with a bachelor’s degree in both mechanical and aerospace engineering and a minor in robotics and intelligent systems. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, following the New York Giants, and running (with a 2:45 marathon PR).
